TAMARA JONES

Tamara Jones is originally from Jamaica, New York. Her dance career started at Gloria Jackson Dance Studio, where she studied ballet, African, tap, and jazz. She was the choreographer of African American Arts Association of Cultural Exchange (AAACE). Tamara has been a member of Harambee Dance Company, Bambara, and Les Enfaints du Soleil. She has performed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, for Essence Magazine events, and Central Park concerts. She was part of the HBO 2005 Documentary “The Music and Me” and featured in The Daily News and Dance Teachers Magazine. She spreads her passion for dance to her hip hop and African Dance students.
